Addison Tyres Ltd   Fundraiser in memory of Roy Addison
I am asking our customers and friends to ask a big favour. If you would please sponsor me on my charity fundraiser.
All money raised will be donated in my Dad’s name to Birmingham Children’s Hospital charity.
My Dad Roy Addison founder of Addison Tyres sadly passed away last year, we worked together side by side for over 30 years and worked hard to make Addison Tyres the success it is today.
He was a legend in the tyre industry and in the boxing ring.
He won the Inter-services Britannia shield while in the RAF and was boxing champion 3 years running.
He then went on to win ABA middle weight championship of Great Britain in 1960.
Also in 1960 he represented Britain at the Rome Olympics.
I have completed my cycle ride of over 1040 miles on June 4th 2022 from Lands End to John O’Groats. Ride was very tough in gale force winds and heavy rain most days, I cycled for over 100 gruelling hours!
I have also completed a tough Ben Nevis trek in July the highest mountain in Britain. Both event’s were self funded.
I am hoping these two endurance events will raise loads of money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital charity. My son had Leukaemia treatment there in 1999 and they saved his life.
